The Ledges Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a Must Hike

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of just a few free national parks in the United States, is the only national park located in Ohio (just outside of Cleveland), and, at 32,000 acres, is also one of the smallest.

That being said, 32,000 acres is nothing to scoff at, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park gives us reason to return again and again when visiting family nearby.

On a recent trip, we decided to check out The Ledges Trail, one of the most popular trails in the park, and were not let down by what we saw.

The Best Madrid Day Trips are Toledo and Segovia

When we were planning our honeymoon vacation in Spain, Madrid always seemed like a no brainer.  Not only because of all of the culturally important sights and museums the city has to offer, such as the Prado and Reina Sofia museums; but because of its proximity to several other amazing cities in Spain. 

Yes, one of the major reason we chose to go to Madrid was purely so we could leave Madrid, and of all of the options available Toledo and Segovia became our destinations. 

Are we crazy to think this way? Probably, but all the time spent outside of the city was certainly worth it!

The Columbia Ice Fields are a Perfect Day Trip from Lake Louise

Back when I first started traveling, I had finally earned enough reward miles for my first frequent flyer ticket anywhere in the USA and Canada.

Naturally I booked one of the most expensive tickets that I could get my hands on, and ended up on a short trip to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.

Between the stunning vistas of Lake Louise and the gorgeous hikes near Banff National Park, I could easily see why this park is one my Canadian friends are most proud of.

While in Lake Louise, I decided to take a day trip further north, almost to the entrance of nearby Jasper National Park to explore the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Glacier. After plunking down a serious chunk of change for a Columbia Icefield day trip I boarded the coach in the early morning to see what the icefield was all about.

When we decided to visit Mexico City, we knew we would be imbibing an absurd amount of mezcal and tequilas. These spirits are synonymous with Mexico and, to be fully honest, the best stuff rarely ever leaves the country.

So when we arrived at our apartment in Roma Norte, we knew that we had to explore nearby to find some of the best bars in Mexico City that use the country’s most iconic spirits.

As it turns out, the area in and around Roma Norte is a hotspot for amazing cocktail bars, mezcal bars, and even some great spots for another prized alcoholic beverage, pulque, and we really got our fill.
