There were certainly several experiences during my Sri Lanka tourism that had me uttering “wow,” but there was one place where I kept saying it over and over again: Kaudulla National Park.

If you are looking to go on a Sri Lankan elephant safari, Kaudulla National Park is the place to do it during the months of September to November. What you get here is truly exceptional.

I pick my word choice on purpose there because I do not think there is any better way to describe the scene as you pull up to a group of several hundred elephants congregating in one small area.

The Top 8 Mauritius Attractions to See While Driving

Many years ago we published an article about the Top 10 Things to Do in Mauritius when researching our dream destinations around the world. It ended up being one of the most popular articles on this site.

Naturally, when we realized we were actually getting to visit this beautiful island nation, we used that post as one of our resources in planning our itinerary during our stay.

With a rental in hand from Maki Car Rentals to make driving in Mauritius a breeze, we developed a new must-see list during our stay on the island.  This time, however, all of the attractions are oriented by those you can visit, and in some cases only visit, via car.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City (aptly called The Met for short) is one of the world’s best museums. 

Featuring art and artifacts from the earliest days of human history through to modern times, sourced from all over the world, to say this one has a little bit of everything may be a bit of an understatement. Naturally, it means the museum is huge and, if we’re being honest, impossibly hard to see everything on a single visit.

As such, you really need to have a plan for visiting this museum so as to ensure you are getting most out of your ticket price. 4 Must Do Experiences in the Stunning Koh Phi Phi Islands

After visiting Koh Lipe, the bar seemed to be elevated to a dangerously high level when talking about Thai islands.

Crystal clear water, entirely walkable, no cars, and a modest, but growing, tourist hold all existed on the island.  It seemed like nothing short of paradise that could possibly be matched in Thailand; however, Koh Phi Phi islands have risen through the ranks to join Koh Lipe Thailand as a little slice of heaven on Earth.
