The Disgusting Food Museum in Malmö is Surprisingly Fun

On a day trip from Copenhagen to Malmö, Sweden, one museum caught our eye for its name alone. This was none other than the Disgusting Food Museum, and you can imagine why that name demanded our attention.

We knew immediately we had to go check it out.

I’ll be the first to admit that I really thought this one was going to be a disappointing tourist trap. But after visiting, I have to say, this one was quite interesting and incredibly well done for its modest size.

5 of the Best Winter Activities in the Arctic Circle in Sweden

When we traveled to the Arctic Circle in Sweden (Kiruna, specifically), our primary goal was to attempt to see the northern lights for the first time.

But before we booked our accommodation, we had a decision to make- do we go fully remote for the best light viewing while being away from towns and cities or do we stay in a bigger area, possibly to some light detriment, to enjoy the many fun activities in the Artic Circle in winter?

So if you’re looking for some fun attractions in the Arctic Circle to round out your trip, we’ve got you covered here!

Travelers exploring the Arctic Circle of Sweden tend to stay in one of these two destinations during a visit, but making a decision between the two has several considerations to keep in mind.

We personally stayed in Kiruna and took a night trip to Abisko, and in this one share a bit more about our thoughts on each and how we’d change it up for a future trip.
