Are you a travel blogger who has had a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience you wish to share as a guest post on Living the Dream? We want to hear from you!

Living the Dream currently accepts review-oriented guest posts from independent bloggers on activities, hotels, and other unique and amazing travel moments from around the world.

Have you gone skydiving over the desert? Maybe you've stayed at a luxury resort with an overwater bungalow or another unique hotel? Took a hot air balloon over the pyramids? Dined at a crazy Michelin-starred restaurant? Gone scuba diving with whale sharks? Or perhaps have a really unique experience in your hometown that you can't get anywhere else?

These are the kind of articles we are looking to feature, and from there the sky really is the limit!

A Few Important Notes Upfront

Unfortunately, as all bloggers know, guest post pages like this one are prime points of spam from PR firms, SEO writers, and commercial businesses trying to score a backlink under the guise of a guest post. If you fall into one of these categories, we direct you to our advertising page. This is for guest posts from independent bloggers only, and all other inquiries on this form will be ignored.

For bloggers, we ask for the following when you submit a pitch:

  1. Please include a link to your blog in the submission form. We review all blogs prior to accepting a guest post and reserve the right to add/remove any 3rd party links that may be included. Suffice it to say, only links to your blog can be guaranteed- so please let us know your blog name and link upfront. If you do not include this, we may not reply.
  2. At this time, we only want a short pitch of 1-3 topics you could write about. Do not write an entire article and send it to us just yet. Simply tell us an experience (or three), when you took it, and any associated information that may be required to convey why it could be classified as a once-in-a-lifetime experience if it is not readily obvious.
    • If you've already written about this experience on your blog, we'd love to see the article as well if you'd be willing to share a link.

While this may sound a bit involved, all we're really looking for is something like the following:

  • “Hey Jeremy, I write at [blog address] and want to submit an article on [a], [b], or [c] which I experienced in October 2021 in [country]. Looking forward to hearing from you!”

From there, we'll research your topic, targeted keywords, and will get back to you as quickly as possible with any questions on the pitch you have submitted. If we accept one, we'll send over our full guidelines on format, length, image requirements, etc. for your review to get started.

Generally speaking, we prefer all of our guest posts to be review-oriented, in a structured format, 500-1,500 words, and can only feature images taken exclusively by yourself (or that you own the copyright to). Articles will be reviewed for plagiarism in both text and images prior to hosting. We do not mind if you have a comparable article on your own blog, but we do not host verbatim or spun copies on our site- it would have to be a fresh writeup in our structured format.

So, with that, all that is left for you to get in touch at the form below!
