Fabulous - in the middle of Sicily in the mountains - an entirely different experience, much more authentic, not overridden with tourists and with friendly locals. You can see all the main highlights in a day, but would recommend longer just to wander, enjoy the views and have some downtime. Use the buses to get from Enna Bassa to Enna Alta.

Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily.
Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily. There are stunning panoramic views of the surroundings from the old city. The town has many attractions, ancient streets, the atmosphere of the old city. Castello di Lombardy, Duomo, Chiesa di San Francesco D’Assisi, Torre di Federico II It is best to come to Enna in spring or autumn, it is very hot in summer. Half an hour drive, the unique ancient Roman mosaics in Villa Romana del Casale, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.AlexanderIsrael - 10Scored 10

The old town is small, and city behind it is rather ugly and not interesting. Next time I would rather get to Enna for a coffee, or lunch, and small walk around, but I stayed there for 2 nights - it was too long, not worth it. Especially in begening of November - it was around 10-12 degrees in Enna, at the same time on the bottom (lake Nicoletti - 15 minutes ride) it was 19 degrees.JedrekMartaPoland

Fabrizio was so nice (helped us drive and park our car just in front of the hotel). The room was huge, spotless clean, decorated, and very convenient. The shower room- just wow. the best we had. Breakfast was really nice, served in a lovely room. Location- just 2 minutes walk from the main street, and less than 5 minutes from piazza cripsy.
